Every Summer Has a Story
Our Every Summer Has a Story reading program provides economically disadvantaged children with a backpack filled with books. This allows them to keep reading through the summer months to retain, and enhance, valuable reading skills.
Every $25 raised provides a child with quality books to read throughout the summer months.
Please join us in putting books into the hands and hearts of children in need by supporting a child, class, or community. Contact us for more information.

2,656 backpacks were delivered in 2024, totaling over 21.000 books! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and supporters!

Looking to give the gift of reading this year? Consider giving a book from our Giving Tree to a child in need!
